Amancio Ortega worth a massive $57bn London - Arabstoday ZARA boss Amancio Ortega has been named fashion's richest man, according to Forbes' 2013 Billionaires List. The Spanish businessman is worth $57bn (£37.5bn), an increase of $19.5bn (£12.8bn) in one year. Although the chart features expected names such as LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault, who ranks at number 10 with his $29bn (£19bn) fortune, it also includes new entries in the form of US designer Tory Burch with a net worth of $1bn (£662m); Diesel mogul Renzo Rosso with $3bn (£1.9bn), and Dolce & Gabbana founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana with $2bn each (£1.3bn). Returning to the top 10 for the first time since 1999 is L'Oreal heiress Liliane Bettencourt, who - with a fortune of $30bn (£19.7bn) - is the world's richest woman. The number of female billionaires has increased by a third over the past year, representing 138 of the 1,426 global billionaires. Mexican Telecom mogul Carlos Slim Helu topped the list for the fourth consecutive year with $73bn (£48bn).
