President of the Bahrain Handball Federation, Ali Isa Eshaqi, has extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, on Bahrain’s distinguished results during the 18th Asian Games, which concluded in Jakarta, Indonesia, recently.
Eshaqi praised Bahrain’s success in bagging 26 medals and in ranking first at the Arab level, valuing highly the national handball team’s success in clinching the second place in an olympic tournament for the first time in its history.
He credited HM the King, HRH Premier and HRH Crown Prince for the historic achievement of the national handball team, highlighting their unwavering interest and keenness to support Bahraini youth, which, he said, enabled the athletes to honour the kingdom and reach podiums at the continental and international gatherings.
Eshaqi also expressed sincere congratulations to the Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the exploit, hailing the tremendous efforts he is exerting to develop the youth and sports sector in the kingdom.
He paid similar tribute to the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, and President of the Bahrain Athletics Association, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for the remarkable results of Bahraini athletes during the Asian Games.
