Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz has sent a message of felicitation to Dr Arif Alvi on assuming the office of the President of Pakistan.
“I, on my behalf and on behalf of the government and people of Saudi Arabia, congratulate you on becoming the President of Pakistan. We extend to you best wishes and desire further prosperity of the brotherly people of Pakistan,” King Salman said in his message.
King Salman appreciated the close brotherly relations between the two countries and their people and said efforts were on to strengthen ties in all fields.
Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, also the deputy prime minister and defence minister, congratulated Dr Arif Alvi on assuming the office of the Head of State.
