Bahrain condemns suicide bombing in Iraq

Bahrain's Foreign Affairs Ministry strongly condemned the terrorist bombing in Baghdad’s Karrada district, which claimed lives of dozens of people and injured others, BNA reported on Sunday.

It affirmed the solidarity of Bahrain with Iraq in confronting violence and terrorism, exerting efforts to establish security and stability in all parts of Iraq and maintain its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The ministry extended its sincere condolences and sympathies to the relatives and families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to all those injured in this terrorist act that has nothing to do with religion and is contrary to all moral and humanitarian values.

The ministry affirmed the need for concerted regional and international efforts to eliminate the phenomenon of terrorism of all forms and sorts, regardless of the motives or justifications, in order eradicate its causes and rid the world of its dangers.
