Bahrain has strongly denounced the “armed terrorist attack on a mosque in North Sinai in Egypt that resulted in scores of deaths and injuries.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences to the leadership and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and to the families of the victims after witnessing this heinous terrorist act that targets innocent lives,” a statement by the ministry said.
“The ministry affirms the Kingdom of Bahrain’s stance with the Arab Republic of Egypt in combating terrorism and all extremist organisations, and supports all its efforts to restore security and stability, reaffirming the Kingdom of Bahrain’s solid position in rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism, as well as draining its sources of funding."
