Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned unprovoked firing by the Indian forces at the Line of Control (LoC).
In a statement issued here on Thursday, he expressed
sorrow over the death of two women due to the firing and
extended sympathies to the heirs.
He also prayed for early recovery of the injured.
The CM termed targeting of civilian population by Indian
forces highly condemnable act and said that Indian aggression
had been fully exposed before the world.
Aggressive Indian designs were a threat to durable peace
in the region, he added.
“India should not miscalculate the power of Pak Army as
the brave armed forces of Pakistan have the fullest capability
to give a befitting reply to the Indian army and the whole
nation stands shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces,”
he concluded.
