Culture minister mourns veteran actor Hamdi Ahmed

Culture Minister Helmy el Namnam on Friday mourned renowned Egyptian actor Hamdy Ahmed, who passed away earlier in the day.
The renowned actor appeared in numerous television soap operas and cinema movies, which will remain in the Arab art memory, Namnam said in a statement.
Ahmed died Friday morning at the age of 82 after a sudden health problem.
The funeral was held following Friday prayers in Al Hosary Mosque in the 6th of October city.
