Egypt ambassador in Palestine mourns death of poet Abnoudi
Egypt's Ambassador to Palestine Wael Nasr el-Din

Egypt's Ambassador to Palestine Wael Nasr el Din on Wednesday mourned the death of renowned Egyptian poet Abdel Rahman al Abnoudi who died yesterday at the age of 76 after a long struggle with illness.
The ambassador said that the great poet will always be remembered as a patriotic Arab figure, considering his death as a big loss.
He added that Abnoudi had always backed the Palestinian cause in his poems.
