Egypt's mufti condemns Arish suicide attack

Egypt's Mufti Shawky Alam strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place Thursday morning in Arish when gunmen opened fire on a security force in el Itlawy Square.
The offensive left some security personnel dead and injured.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Alam said that the extremist groups aim at harming the stability of the country and spreading chaos.
The terrorists are shedding the blood of innocent people and intimidating the citizens, statement read.
Alam offered condolences to the families of the victims, and hoped a speedy recovery for the wounded.
