The European Union extended its deepest condolences to the families and relatives of those killed and injured in Friday’s terror attack, EU official website said on Saturday.
In a press release, the Spokesperson for EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ray said “As we continue to follow developments on the ground, the EU reiterates that it stands with the Egyptian people and authorities in facing terrorism.”
Sixteen policemen and conscripts were killed and 13 others injured in an exchange of gunfire with terrorists in the Western Desert last night.
