Official Muritanian delegation offers condolences over death of Boutros-Ghali

An official Muritanian delegation on Monday offered condolences at the Egyptian Embassy in Nouakchott over the death of former United Nations secretary-general Boutros Boutros-Ghali.
The delegation was led by Mohamed Lemine Ould Cheikh, the Minister of Relations with Parliament and Civil Society and Government Spokesman.
Hailing the late Egyptian diplomat's efforts as the first Arab and African UN chief, the delegation offered condolence to the Egyptian Ambassador Ahmed Fadel.
