The United Arab Emirates has condemned the terrorist attack in Bamako, capital of Mali, which killed and injured dozens of people.

In a statement yesterday, the Foreign Ministry highlighted the UAE's stance which rejects terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, whatever the motives and justifications behind it.

The statement called for intensified and concerted efforts of the international community to ensure the eradication of the serious scourge of terrorism that is contrary to all moral and humanitarian values.

The ministry confirmed its full solidarity with the Republic of Mali in the face of terrorism, expressing sincere condolences and sympathy to the people and families of the victims, and extended wishes for a speedy recovery for all the injured.
