UN Chief condemns Riyadh car bomb attack

The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon condemned the criminal attack with an explosive-laden car on a checkpoint in Riyadh yesterday evening which resulted in the death of the car driver and the injury of two security officers.
The UN Chief expressed in a statement, given by his Spokesman, deep grief and anger over the attack which came prior to Eid Al-Fitr, calling to bring the perpetrators to justice.
The UN Secretary General wished the injured a speedy recovery, voicing solidarity with the Saudi government and people.
