Algerian visual artist Sophian Day prepares for organizing a major exhibition in Algeria’s capital during the coming days.
He said, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that this exhibition, entitled “The Scrap”, will be distinctive if compared to the previous ones, saying that the neighborhood, in which he is living, inspired him with the idea, as the old tools were spread there.
He added that his paintings carry different issues, while they have been related to the Algerian heritage, stressing his keenness to present the art reflecting the Algerian heritage.
He stressed that his paintings find their roots in different places from the country, saying that the followers of his paintings view the different cities of Algeria through his art, stressing his keenness to use the natural colors.
