Australian International School in Sharjah Sharjah - Arab Today The Kalimat Publishing Group recently organised a five-day book fair and reading session at the Australian International School in Sharjah in a bid to foster a love of reading and deep engagement with books among young students, to develop their cognitive and linguistic skills, and to expand and enrich their vocabularies. The list of books on display at the book fair included several publications that target a wide range of age groups and address educational and entertaining topics, related to children's interests such as relationships with parents, relocating to a new school, how to spend time in useful activities, how to deal with animals, how to go shopping, and other topics related to the general culture. Tamer Said, Business Development Manager at Kalimat Publishing Group, said, "This fair and the reading session are part of Kalimat's commitment to enhance a love of reading among children. We are keen to bring authors, illustrators, children, and teachers together in an educational and fun environment. Our hope is that the books for which we organise reading sessions will touch children's hearts and aspirations, quench their thirst for knowledge, and help instil in them the right values and principles enabling them to excel and innovate."
