The Algerian plastic artist Gelali Qarien, prepares to present two adorable paintings, in "No media Maghreb " exhibition, which will be held this month in Algiers.

The exhibition usually attended by more than 50 artists representing art schools from Algeria and several other Arab countries such as Egypt, Morocco, Libya and Tunisia, Qarien said in a statement to Arabs Today.

He prepares to view new pieces at the fourth international cultural festival of miniatures and decoration, which will be held in September, and more than 20 countries usually participate in.
About the art of miniatures, he said it is an old art belonging to writing arts, and its goal is to explain the written texts, whether scientific or literary.

The Algerian artist focuses on the transfer of Algerian heritage in his paintings, such as anything related to traditional dress and customs.
