Lebanese actress Darine Hamza Beirut – Sohaila Kayaly These days Lebanese actress Darine Hamza spends most of her time shooting the upcoming movie Betroit, where the daily shooting hours can exceed 10 hours.  At the command of Adel Sarhan, the Lebanese director of the production, Hamza and the film crew have been busy traveling to numerous filming locations across Lebanon – and its only been two weeks since she started filming. Currently, Darine is shooting her scenes in Goiania. She plays the role of Lebanese woman called Laila, a complex woman who suffers from her social and family circumstances. Behind the scenes, there is an overwhelming sense of enthusiasm and passion, where every body is working together to finish the work by the end of June.  Despite the fatigue and exertion, everyone is happy with their daily results. Darine says it has been tough playing her character, as the intense scenes require a lot of focus and professionalism: "I have fun portraying Laila.  Of course, the role is exhausting but I'm happy to go through the experience" Darine stars with Hassan Farahat, Khetam el Laham, Derek Kelly, Madiha Keneifaty, the American actress Anthina Lebessis, Rawad Aboud and others. 'Betroit' will be released and on screens next November and will be the first Lebanese film shot and directed between Lebanon and America.
