Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Faisal Al-Hamoud Al-Malek Al-Sabah applauded good preparations made by Kuwait Camel Racing Club for the 2014-2015 Camel Race Festival.
On behalf of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the festival's sponsor, Sheikh Faisal said in his speech: "All countries across the world are proud of their traditions and we in Kuwait are also proud of our traditions and sports of our parents and grandparents." "We seek to transfer these traditions to both friendly and sisterly countries," he said, expressing his happiness for representing His Highness the Crown Prince at the prize ceremony.
Such festivals show how Kuwait political leadership pays more attention to sports, notably the camel racing, he said.
