Confronting terrorism is a duty

Minister of Awqaf Mohammad Mokhtar Gomaa highlighted the need for confronting and uprooting terrorism, considering it a religious and legitimate duty.
In a statement released on Saturday, Gomaa said any attempt to defame Egypt's image is a religious treason, asserting that Egypt is the center of the Arab and Muslim worlds.
He said the Muslim Brotherhood is the spearhead of terrorism and extremism which have been explicitly demonstrated in the incitement of its leaders and their violation of all human norms and heavenly teachings.
Gomaa also denounced calls to kill people and destroy property in violation of all human values.
