Yemeni Foreign Minister Riyadh Yassin said on Wednesday that the Jeddah extraordinary ministerial conference on Yemen will discuss a Yemeni proposal to form an Islamic observation force to maintain any possible truce that might be reached before the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
Yassin told the Saudi Al Watan newspaper that Yemeni President AbdRabbu Mansour Hadi will attend the meetings through which the Yemeni government will seek to mobilize Islamic countries' support behind the legitimate authority in Yemen.
The Jeddah conference on Yemen was convoked by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
