Minister of Culture, Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa said that there were signs of including World Human Heritage Site on the World Heritage Committee’s list, which is the second site of the Kingdom of Bahrain after Bahrain Fort’s Site, wishing also to include the third site, that is the series of archaeological heritage for next years. In a statement to “Al Bilad Newspapers” today, Shaikha Mai added that the site she referred to will be included in this month June during the meeting of World Heritage Committee in ST. Petersburg. On the other hand, Shaikha Mai said that the city Nakhoul hosted in its fourth edition great activities for children throughout the whole month, where Manama being the Capital of the Arab Culture is considered a happy occasion, particularly Bahrain’s summer location for this year provides more privacy with convenient car parks, and open skies for the child to choose the suitable programmes. The Minister of Culture highlighted that they have promoted for Bahrain’s summer carnival in Kuwait, the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, and through the Internet. She also said that a great number of visitors review those activities and follow them, and wished that Bahrain’s summer would be enjoyed by everyone.
