Technical teams managed to restore radio and TV broadcasting to Deir Ezzor province after a 7-year interruption due to the attacks of terrorist organizations who were formerly in control in the province before the Syrian army took over.
“After an interruption of seven years due to terrorist sabotage acts against radio and television broadcasting stations in the province, radio and television broadcasting is now back, covering the city of Deir Ezzor and its surrounding areas after technical teams of the General Authority for Radio and Television set up radio and television broadcasting installations,” Director of Radio and Television broadcasting in Deir Ezzor Nazem Alloush announced on Saturday.
“There is a plan to expand the scope of broadcasting in the coming period through introducing new channels and radios and increasing the coverage area to cover the entire province,” he added.
