PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT Dan Lydiate - his power, work rate and largely unseen excellence have been the foundation of Wales's Grand Slam. Wesley Fofana - In a era of man-mountain centres, Fofana's fleet of foot and deft handling have been a joy to behold. Owen Farrell - England's fly-half has been one of the finds of the tournament after taking to international rugby like a duck to water. Leigh Halfpenny - the booming boot and attacking excellence of Wales's full-back was key to securing the Six Nations title. FORWARD OF THE TOURNAMENT Dan Lydiate - the young Welsh wrecking machine crowned a superb championship with a stunning display against France. Ben Morgan - grew in stature by the game. Like Dean Richards, he has the ability to stay on his feet on the rumble. David Denton - for reasons beyond his own flaxen locks, Denton has drawn comparisons with John Jeffrey, boasting the same versatility and ball skills. Donnacha Ryan - a mighty presence for Ireland in the second row, his displays softened the blow of Paul O'Connell's absence. Pascale Pape - France's veteran workhorse gets better and better with age. Carried the ball, offloaded and everywhere in defence. Tom Croft - rediscovered his best form and gave England's attacking platform an extra dimsension with his speed and power. BACK OF THE TOURNAMENT Leigh Halfpenny - the little titan, just like Lydiate, epitomised Welsh heart, fire and resilience. Wesley Fofana - he's got to be something special if players from all generations liken him to Philippe Sella. Owen Farrell - cemented his place as England's first-choice No 10, and he's only 20 year's old. Alex Cuthbert - George North may have got all the hype, but it was Cuthbert who quickly had everybody talking. Tommy Bowe - Ireland's Mr Dependable and probably the best wing in the northern hemisphere. George North - took his game to a new level. A phenomenal athlete who is now adding deft handling skills to his bulk and speed.
