Portugal coach Paulo Bento has recalled fit-again Real Madrid defenders Pepe and Fabio Coentrao for their UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying play-off first leg with Bosnia-Herzegovina on 11 November. Forwards Hugo Almeida and Danny, who likewise missed the final stages of the qualifying campaign, which saw Denmark win the group to book a direct berth at next summer's finals, have also been drafted in to face the Bosnians at Zenica. The return leg is four days later in Lisbon. "With the return of certain players who had been out with injury, we now have a wider range of options," Bento told reporters after unveiling his 23-man squad. Portugal squad: Goalkeepers: Rui Patricio (Sporting), Eduardo (Benfica), Beto (CFR Cluj/ROM) Defenders: Bruno Alves (Zenit St. Petersburg/RUS), Fabio Coentrao (Real Madrid/ESP), Sereno (Cologne/GER), Joao Pereira (Sporting), Pepe (Real Madrid/ESP), Rolando (FC Porto), Silvio (Atletico Madrid/ESP) Midfielders: Carlos Martins (Granada/ESP), Joao Moutinho (FC Porto), Miguel Veloso (Genoa/ITA), Raul Meireles (Chelsea/ENG), Ruben Amorim (Benfica), Ruben Micael (Real Zaragoza/ESP) Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid/ESP), Danny (Zenit St. Petersburg/RUS), Hugo Almeida (Besiktas/TUR), Helder Postiga (Real Zaragoza/ESP), Nani (Manchester United/ENG), Ricardo Quaresma (Besiktas/TUR), Nuno Gomes (Sporting Braga)
