Brisbane Roar will be aiming to make A League history by becoming the first club to win back-to-back titles when they host Perth Glory on Sunday. The Roar claimed their first championship in 2011 sensationally coming from 2-0 down late in extra time to beat the Central Coast Mariners on penalties. This season the Mariners fell by the wayside during the semi-finals, despite finishing the regular season on top of the table, leaving Perth as Brisbane's unlikely grand final opponents.Brisbane head into the final as firm favourites after dominating the A-League for much of the season with a high-tempo passing game based around German import Thomas Broich, who was named the competition's player of the year.Much of Brisbane's breathtaking attacking game revolves around Broich, whose absence through injury midway through the season coincided with the Roar's only losing streak. But Brisbane have attacking weapons all over the park, including Albanian striker Besart Berisha, the competition's leading goal scorer, midfielder Mitch Nichols and Brazilian livewire Henrique.By contrast most of Perth's attack is centred around New Zealand international Shane Smeltz, whose recent run of goalscoring form has played a major part in the Glory's surge from second last on the table just before Christmas to Sunday's decider.More than 52,000 tickets have been sold for the final, which Berisha said would help the home side enormously."I will go out with everything I can do in my body to stop Perth and try to win this game," the Albanian said. "With so many people behind my back, I will enjoy this moment and nobody will stop us."Of course I am prepared," he said about his own form. But at the end of the day, it's not about me. It's about the team. I have to do things that are good for the team and make the team strong."They (Perth) will try everything. Everybody will try everything to win the game and I will also try to hurt Perth."
