Scotland's Celtic won the Scottish Premiership trophy on Sunday with a remarkable 7-0 trouncing of Motherwell in Glasgow.
In the match held at Celtic Park where the Celtic Football club is situated, the Glasgow giants Celtic achieved their fifth successive Scottish title.
Celtic's success gave the departing Norwegian manager Ronny Deila, who was looking to finish his two-season tenure, a perfect parting gift.
The Premiership champions hit top form and began their rout in the 21st minute when 18-year-old left-back Kieran Tierney opened the scoring with his first for the club, before goals from midfielder Tom Rogic and stand-in skipper Mikael Lustig had the points secured by the interval, the local media reported.
Further strikes from Stuart Armstrong and Patrick Roberts at the start of the second half put Celtic Park in party mode before Ryan Christie grabbed his first Hoops goal before the hour mark.
Another highlight is 16-year-old debutant substitute Jack Aitchison, the youngest player to play for the Hoops, made the score to seven with his first touch.
Playing their first match in May 1888, Celtic have effectively clinched five titles in a row and the 47th championship in their history.
