Copenhagen - Arabstoday

FC Copenhagen restored their six-point lead at the top of the Superliga on Sunday after beating FC Midtjylland 2-1. Having seen their advantage trimmed by FC Nordsjaelland's defeat of AGF Aarhus on Friday, FCK got off to a strong start with Ragnar Sigurdsson putting them ahead after five minutes and Nicolai Jorgensen making it 2-0 22 minutes later. Mads Albaek pulled one back for Midtjylland shortly after the hour mark but the visitors could not find an equaliser. AaB consolidated third place with a 2-0 win against AC Horsens. Kenneth Emil Petersen opened the scoring after 10 minutes and substitute Rolf Toft made the points safe with four minutes to go. Brondby remain bottom after a 2-2 draw at home to fellow strugglers Esbjerg. Yussef Toutouh put Esbjerg in front only for a Simon Christoffersen double to turn the match on its head. Magnus Lekven's 63rd-minute equaliser ensured the match finished all square. FIFA
