Cairo - Arabstoday

Italian champions Inter Milan are not considering selling their star striker Samuel Eto’o but his agent has left the door open for a big move. “Inter have stated that they are happy and proud that Samuel is one of their players and he appreciated that,” agent Claudio Vigorelli told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “He’s said the same thing to President Massimo Moratti,” he added. The 30-year old sensational striker has been linked with a move out of San Siro with some of the World’s top clubs waiting for a sign. However the Cameroonian ace has played down these speculations and pledged his future with the Nerazzurri. “The truth is that they are happy to stay together and they will, so long as nothing changes between now and the end of August. “What may change? Inter could receive a big offer for Eto’o, let’s say an indecent proposal, that up until today hasn’t arrived. “Inter are not going out and looking for offers and neither is Eto’o, but nothing is to be excluded in football. “If a big offer was to come in then the President and Samuel will go and have a coffee together, then we’ll see what happens,” he concluded. Eto’o has been instrumental for Inter over the past two years leading them to a historical treble (league, cup and Champions League) additionally to the World Club Cup last December. This season he had another amazing performance scoring 21 goals in 35 Serie A games, 8 goals in 10 Champions League matches, and five goals in four Coppa Italia encounters including a brace in the final against Palermo 3-1 to help Inter save their season with the title.
