Galatasaray regained top spot in the Turkish Super Lig this evening with a 1-0 home win over Manisaspor, while champions Fenerbahce were held to a goalless draw at Antalyaspor. Selcuk Inan netted the winner for Gala in the 64th minute, with Manisaspor's cause not helped by the dismissal of Yigit Incedemir four minutes later. The win lifted the Istanbul club two points clear of Fener, who could not find a way past Antalyaspor. Third-placed Eskisehirspor also had to settle for a point following their goalless draw at fifth-spotted Mersin Idmanyurdu. Elsewhere, Kayserispor climbed to seventh with a straightforward 3-0 triumph over bottom-of-the-table Ankaragucu. Two goals in the first 22 minutes from James Troisi put the hosts in the ascendancy and another by Sefa Yilmaz made the points safe just after the half-hour mark. Mid-table Sivasspor also won but were made to work hard for their 3-2 home victory over second-bottom Samsunspor. Aristide Bance started and finished the scoring for the visitors, but in between Milan Cerny, Kamil Grosicki and Mehmet Nas were on target for Sivasspor. The hosts had defender Jacques Faty sent off 13 minutes from time but held on for the three points.
