AC Milan attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is on his way back after an ankle injury and could make his comeback in the Serie A match at home against Cesena on September 24, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports. The Swedish forward picked up the knock in the build-up toward the Champions League clash against Barcelona last week and spent the past few days in his native country recovering from the injury. Ibrahimovic returned to Milan on Monday evening and his recovery is going faster than initially expected. He will not feature in Wednesday's match against Udinese, but could make a substitute appearance versus Cesena at the weekend. Head coach Massimiliano Allegri then hopes to be able to include Ibrahimovic in the starting XI again in the Champions League match at home against Viktoria Plzen on September 28. Meanwhile, Filippo Inzaghi could be included in the match squad to face Udinese in midweek. The experienced attacker has been out of action for 10 months due to a knee injury, but impressed in training on Monday and could make the bench for Wednesday's game at San Siro.
