Juventus have been dealt a blow ahead of their Champions League clash at Bayern Munich on Wednesday with key players Paulo Dybala and Claudio Marchisio both ruled out with injury.

Argentina striker Dybala, who scored in the first leg when Juventus fought back from 2-0 down to seal a 2-2 draw in Turin, injured his calf in training on Monday while Italy midfielder Marchisio has torn a calf muscle.

Dybala is only expected to miss the next few days and could be fit for Sunday's Turin derby aaway to Torino, but Marchisio is expected to be sidelined for the next three weeks.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was already without defenders Giorgio Chiellini und Martin Caceres.

Juve's former Bayern striker Mario Mandzukic is carrying a knock, but should be able to take part in training on Tuesday before the squad flies to Munich.

Bayern host the Italian champions at the Allianz Arena looking to seal their fifth consecutive quarter-final appearance in Europe's premier club competition.

Bayern took a 2-0 lead through Thomas Mueller and Arjen Robben in Turin three weeks ago before Dybala and Stefano Sturaro netted as Juventus fought back for a 2-2 draw in the first leg.

Juve are now unbeaten in 19 consecutive games and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has not conceded for 10 games, but Bayern have lost just once at home this season.
