Lazio have re-entered negotiations with Juventus over the signing of Milos Krasic, Goal.com has learned, but the winger remains uninterested in a move to the Stadio Olimpico as he is intent on leaving Italy. The Biancocelesti tried to sign the Serbia international during the January transfer window, but even though they reached an agreement with the Bianconeri, the player, who has been surplus to requirements in Turin ever since the arrival of Antonio Conte as coach last summer, rejected the switch. Krasic, who also turned down an offer from Zenit, has since admitted that he should have left Juventus Stadium at the turn of the year, given he did not feature once for the first team between January 15 and the end of Juve's Scudetto-winning campaign. Consequently, Lazio reignited their interest in the former CSKA Moscow man after finalising Vladimir Petkovic's appointment as coach over the weekend. The capital club believe that Krasic would be a perfect fit for them, given their incoming boss is a fan of three-man frontlines. There are two major stumbling blocks, though. Firstly, Lazio want to sign Krasic on loan with a view to a permanent move next summer, but Juventus are only willing to entertain a permanent transfer. Secondly, and more significantly, the 27-year-old does not want to move to Rome, believing that he is ill-suited to Italian football. He is therefore seeking a move abroad, with England his preferred destination. However, it is believed that he would not say no to Zenit if they come calling again. Lazio, though, remain the only club to have registered an interest in Krasic since the end of the season and president Claudio Lotito has no intention of giving up without a fight. The Biancocelesti supremo is hoping that the same powers of persuasion which convinced former coach Edy Reja to twice go back on his decision to resign this season will also work on Krasic.
