Swiss Super League champions Basel suffered just a third defeat of the season as Servette took advantage of Genseric Kusunga's sending off to claim a 2-1 victory. Ishmael Yartey put Servette in front in the 12th minute and Jacques Zoua levelled in the 62nd despite Kusunga having been dismissed 11 minutes earlier. Silva Eudis then secured the points with five minutes left. Runners-up Lucerne also lost, with Enrico Schirinzi scoring the only goal of the game for FC Thun. Meanwhile, third-placed Young Boys saw off Sion 3-0, with Alexander Farnerud, Raul Bobadilla and Michael Frey all on target. Bottom club Sion had Goran Obradovic sent off in the 57th minute. And, Grasshoppers lost 1-0 to visiting FC Zurich, Berat Djimsiti scoring the winner.
