Jorge Rodriguez's second-half brace saw struggling Jaguares claim a shock 2-0 win over Mexican Apertura leaders Toluca. Rodriguez notched in the 55th and 78th minutes to hand Toluca their first loss of the league season. And their slip-up means Tijuana could displace them at the top of the table when they take on Atlante over the weekend. Third-placed Leon also suffered a surprise defeat as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Guadalajara in a feisty encounter that saw both teams finish with ten men. Xavier Baez was dismissed for the visitors in the 32nd minute although it was not until 15 minutes from time that Leon took advantage with Jose Vazquez's penalty. But after Jonny Magallon then saw red to even the teams up four minutes later, Jorge Enriquez's strike and a last-gasp goal from Marquez Lugo saw Guadalajara to victory. Elsewhere, a brace from Felix Borja saw Pachuca to a 3-2 success over Morelia. Borja put the home side two goals to the good, although Leobardo Lopez's own goal halved the deficit. Jose Torres scored after the interval to restore the cushion before substitute Carlos Ochoa ensured a nervy finale. Pachuca held on, however, for just their second victory of the season. FIFA
