Istanbul - Arab Today

Turkish top flight side Trabzonspor announced Thursday that the club have signed a two-year contract with French international winger Florent Malouda. The 33-year-old Malouda was released by Premier League giants Chelsea after spending the entire last season training with the reserve team. The last match he played for Chelsea was the 2012 Champions League final in which Chelsea beat Bayern Munich in penalties. Malouda has won 80 international caps for France and scored nine goals. He will receive 2.5 millions euros a season in Trabzonspor, which finished ninth last season and qualified for the Europa League next season as cup runners-up. From: XINHUA
