Wigan boss Roberto Martinez believes the experience of previous relegation battles will help his players pull away from the Premier League danger zone. The Latics are rooted to the bottom of the table after earning just one win in their opening 11 games.Martinez's men have lost their last eight top-flight matches going into Saturday's crucial clash with fellow strugglers Blackburn and the Spaniard admits he is concerned by the situation. But he remains confident that his players, who escaped the drop on the final day of the 2010/11 season, are capable of lifting themselves out of the relegation mire.Martinez said: "Morale is good because I would say we have been in this situation time after time."We have got the right characters in the dressing room and we know how to face adversity."These are situations we want to get out of. Not because of the run of defeats, that is just a stat. It is just the lack of points."That is something we never expected, especially if you look at the level of our performances."We can change it around quickly and we have got the right personalities and talent in the dressing room to get the points we need and achieve our aim."
