Jamaica won the Olympic gold medal in the men's 400-meter relay Saturday with a world record time of 36.84. The team of Nesta Carter, Michael Frater, Yohan Blake and Usain Bolt broke the world mark set by Jamaica at last year's world championships. The United States equaled that old record of 37.04 while finishing second, but still finished two-tenths of a second behind the Jamaicans. Trinidad & Tobago took the bronze medal after Canada was disqualified for passing the baton outside the zone. Bolt finished his Olympics by sweeping the 100, 200 and 400-meter relay gold medals for the second straight Games.
