Emirates Airline yesterday morning welcomed one of the biggest football teams in the world and Club World Cup winners, Real Madrid, to Dubai for the friendly match against AC Milan, to be played today at The Sevens Stadium.
The Emirates 777-300ER, emblazoned with the Real Madrid logo along the side, landed into Dubai International Airport to a gathering of fans for their first visit to the city.
The La Liga top seat and unbeaten in 22 games across all competitions, will go up against reigning DFC champions AC Milan in the fourth match of its type. Kick off for the exciting match is at 20:00 on Tuesday 30 December at The Sevens Stadium and will be the last match of 2014 for the two clubs.
Emirates airline and co-host, Dubai Tourism, have worked together to bring the two European teams to Dubai for this exciting sold-out match, where over 40,000 people will have the opportunity to watch world-class football in the UAE.
On the day, ticket holders are advised to arrive early when the gates open and enjoy the facilities and activities in The Village. The festivities start from 3pm and include activations from event sponsors Adidas, du and live entertainment from ARN's Kris Fade and Tom Urquhart.
