Hannover coach Mirko Slomka enthused about the "crazy game" which his side won 3-2 against Werder Bremen yesterday, but lamented a bitter aftertaste. Szabolcs Huszti inspired the Lower Saxony side to victory with two goals - the second an acrobatic winner in stoppage time - and one assist, but he saw a red card for his celebrations which will rule him out of Hannover's next Bundesliga game. He said: "There were five goals with everything you could ask for. "We witnessed a crazy game, a typical northern derby between Hannover and Werder Bremen. It was also a lucky win. The 3-2 showed our will never to give up. "Szabolcs Huszti has now had a hand in our last seven goals and he is one of our best creative players. I don't think he knew about the rule, but the referee got everything right. It is bitter that Szabi will now miss the Hoffenheim game." Referee Deniz Aytekin admitted even he did not want to show the Hungarian the red card, but he was only following the rules. "You do have to feel sorry about it," he is quoted as saying on the Hannover website. "I had to warn him for taking his shirt off and then he climbed onto the perimeter fencing and that left me no other choice but to send him off. "You could see from my reaction that I really did not want to do it, but I just have to do my duty in such a situation." FIFA
