Trabzonspor were unable to move level with the Super Lig's top two after being held to 1-1 draw by stuttering Besiktas on Sunday. Trabzonspor would have joined Galatasaray and Antalyaspor on 15 points with a victory today and they were on course to achieve that after taking the lead on the stroke of half-time through Marek Sapara. However, Besiktas, who had lost their previous three matches, struck back 10 minutes into the second half through Manuel Fernandes to earn a point. Kasimpasa could also have gone joint top if they had beaten second-bottom Mersin Idmanyurdu, but in the end needed two goals in stoppage time just to salvage a dramatic draw. Mert Marcio Nobre (27) and Mustafa Keceli (51) looked to have set Idmanyurdu on their way to a first win of the season, but Kasimpasa battled back for a point thanks to last-gasp goals from substitutes Tabare Viudez and Adem Buyuk. Elsewhere, Karabukspor scored first and last against Eskisehirspor, but still ended up red-faced as they were thumped 5-2 in an exciting match. Ilhan Parlak's eighth-minute goal put the visitors ahead, but Eskisehirspor responded with strikes from Necati Ates (16), Diomansy Kamara (39 and 70), Alper Potuk (50) and Patryk Malecki (78) before Karabukspor netted an 88th-minute consolation through Ahmet Ozek. Today's other match saw Akhisar Belediye draw 0-0 with Gaziantepspor. FIFA
