London - Arabstoday

Tunisia lost by a narrow margin of 56-60 against Nigeria in Group A of the Preliminary Round of the Olympic Basketball competition in London. The Tunisians got off to a slow start, finishing the first quarter 11 points adrift from their opponents. Despite a spirited comeback which saw Tunisia outscore Nigeria by a margin of ten points in the final quarter it proved to be too little too late. Shooting guard Amine Rzig top-scored for the Tunisians with 18 points, while Alade Aminu scored 15 for the victorious Nigerians. On Tuesday 31st Tunisia will face The United States “dream team” in what should be a real test for the North African side. From:The daily star
