London - Arabstoday

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini was delighted with i Bianconeri's "display of strength" in last night's goalless draw at third-placed Udinese. Juve were unable to find a way past home goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and lost sole leadership of Serie A as a result. Antonio Conte's side have 34 points, the same as AC Milan after i Rossoneri beat Cagliari 2-0 on Tuesday night. "We came here to win and we tried to do so," said Italy international Chiellini. "We weren't able to manage it, and often lacked the final touch, but we're still satisfied. It's been another display of strength. I believe that few teams will come here and play a game like this." Chiellini admitted it was a minor irritation that Juve had to share top spot with Milan heading into the Christmas break. "It gives us pleasure to end 2011 at the top of the table, even if we would have preferred to be up there on our own," he said. "Milan remain favourites, but there are many sides in the running."
