Veracruz are one of three sides level top of the Torneo Clausura after a 3-3 draw with Unam Pumas on Friday. They, Tigres Monterrey and Guadalajara all have 25 points, with Veracruz shading it on goal difference.

Juan Albin put them ahead, but Eduardo Herrera levelled, before Julio Cesar Furch restored Veracruz's side with a penalty. The same man made it 3-1, but Herrera's penalty reduced the defecit and then Ismael Sosa earned Unam a point.

Tigres Monterrey were 3-1 winners at Queretaro, having had the game won by half-time. Damian Alvarez (two) and Joffre Guerron scored for them, with Kevin Gutierrez replying with a consolation.

Santos Laguna beat Club Universidad de Guadalajara 1-0 in the day's other game, Andres Renteria Morelo grabbing the only goal.
