The nine-time Zamalek handball champions left for Burkina Faso on Wednesday to take part in the 38th African Handball Champions League, to kick off Friday and continue till October 30.
The mission includes 18 players, including talented winger Ahmed El Ahmar, said team coach Ayman Saleh.
Titleholders Zamalek, in their search for the tenth Handball African Champions League title, will play in Group B along with Widad Smara, (Morocco), FAP Yaoundé of Cameroon, JSK (DR Congo), and Burkina Faso’s AS Douane
