Al Arabi Sports Club confidently won the title of the prestigious HH the Emir Volleyball Cup 2014 , following their convincing 3-1 victory over rivals Police in the final match held at Al-Arabi SC indoor on Sunday. Al Arabi was the dominant side in the final clash on Sunday , secured a 3-1 victory over the Police (23-25, 27-25, 25-20 and 25-21). The FIVB President, Dr. Ary Da Silva Graca Filho and Mr. Khalid Ali Al Mawlawi, the President of Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) attended the final match on Sunday. At the victory ceremony, Al Arabi volleyball squad received the prestigious Trophy, gold medals and a prize money reached QR 500.000 , while the Police team got silver medal and a prize money of QR 250.000. In a post-event release on Sunday , the FIVB President, Dr. Ary Da Silva Graca Filho appreciated the fruitful cooperation between QVA and FIVB and applauded the tangible improvement in the Qatar Volleyball Game. Likewise, QVA President, Mr. Khalid Ali Al Mawlawi congratulated the winners, Al Arabi team for this glorious victory and wished best luck for the runners-up, the Police team.
