Al Shabab went five points clear at the top of the Saudi League with a 2-0 win at bottom side Al Ansar on Thursday. Goals in each half from Nasser Al Shamrani and Ibrahima Yattara clinched victory over an Al Ansar side yet to pick up a point and maintained Al Shabab's unbeaten record. Victor Simoes struck four minutes before the break as Al Ahly climbed to third with a 1-0 win over Al Raed while Redha Tukar, Naif Hazazi and Sultan Al Nemri all got on the scoresheet as Al Ittihad triumphed 3-1 at Al Nasr.
