Blida - APS

Algeria’s national football team beat its Libyan counterpart 2-0 (first half 2-0) in a return match at Mustapha Tchaker Stadium of Blida (50-km southwest of Algiers) on Sunday, the last day of Africa Cup of Nations (ACN 2013) qualifiers. The goals were scored by Hilal Soudani (5th minute) and Islam Slimani (7th). In the first-leg match, on September 9 in Casablanca, Morocco, the national team won 1-0. The win against Libya has allowed the Desert Foxes to qualify for the fifth time in their history to an Africa Cup of Nations tournament. The 2013 ACN will take place from 19 January to 10 February 2013 in South Africa.
