A high-ranking security source at the Ministry of Interior said an all-out security plan has been outlined to secure Ahly-Zamalek match in the Egyptian Premier League at Alexandria's Borg El Arab Stadium
In statements to MENA, the source said the plan comes in implementation of directives of Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar who ordered a security beef-up around the stadium and its surroundings as well as operation of cameras inside the stadium and at its gates to detect any elements trying to sneak into the match.
The source urged citizens to abide by the security instructions to safeguard the reputation of the Egyptian soccer fans and ensure a fair play.
