Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee president, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received Bahrain Triathlon Association (BTA) President Shaikh Saqr bin Salman Al Khalifa, and stressed the importance of redoubling efforts and teamwork spirit to ensure the success of Bahrain International Triathlon Challenge Championship " challenge Bahrain ".
The tournament will be organised in cooperation between Nasser bin Hamad Foundation (NBHF) and Challenge International Organisation and will be hosted by Bahrain on 6 December 2014.
BTA President gave a detailed presentation about Bahrain's preparations to host the International Triathlon Challenge Championship and the advanced stages accomplished by the organising committee in order to show the tournament in an excellence image.
SCYS President underscored accentuating Bahrain's high competence in organising sport events to further reinforce international federations confidence in Bahrain's capabilities.
He underlined establishing communication with Bahraini youth to urge them to take an active role in the tournament. Explaining that involving Bahraini youth in such significant competition at a global level will enhance their status, highlight their excellence in sport fields, as well as raising Bahrain's international standing and the experiences to be gained.
BTA President hailed the support provided by SCYS President for succeeding the event, and affirmed implementing directives in regard to urging Bahraini youth to participate in the championship.
