The Algerian football team arrived early Sunday evening in Belo Horizonte, where they are to take on Belgium on Tuesday in Mineiro Stadium (1:00 p.m.), for their World Cup Group H first day.
The Algerian delegation was welcomed on its arrival in Belo Horizonte by local authorities, in the presence of some Algerian fans. Immediately, it headed to the residence in Cesar Business Hotel, located in the centre of the city.
Accompanied by the president of FAF, Mohamed Raouraoua, the Desert Foxes were greeted by Sports Minister Mohamed Tahmi, and a dozen supporters who made the trip to support the national team.
Teammates of Captain Madjid Bougherra will hold Monday afternoon, their final pre-game training, scheduled in the main stadium.
The match against the Belgians will be refereed by a Mexican trio, composed of Marco Rodriguez, Marcos Quintero and Marvin Torrentera.
After Belgium, Algeria will also play South Korea on June 22 in Porto Alegre, and Russia, on June 26 in Curitiba, all forming Group H.
